Bringing together the most analytically capable undergraduate finance students in the UK. Finals hosted at UBS London Auditorium, March 4th 2027.
The UK Equity Research Challenge (UKERC) is an annual national competition in which undergraduate teams from Britain's leading universities produce and defend a full equity research report on a listed company of their choice.
It exists because the standard of undergraduate investment analysis in the UK has quietly become excellent — yet there has been no single stage on which the strongest societies can measure themselves against one another under a shared, rigorous format.
UKERC is that stage. Reports are judged to institutional standards. Finals are held in front of a panel of senior buy-side and sell-side professionals at the UBS London Auditorium.
"The competition that serious undergraduate finance students build their year around."
Teams of 4–5 submit a 10-page equity research report, a 15-slide pitch deck, and an Excel financial model on a stock of their choice.
The strongest teams present at the UBS London Auditorium on March 4th 2027.
